At Arden Lodge, residents are supported to live an active and fulfilled life within our community of care. Our aim has always been to create a secure, relaxed, and happy atmosphere to create a ‘home from home’.
The question of moving a loved one into a residential care home can feel stressful for all involved – but this doesn’t have to be the case. We fully appreciate the sacrifices our residents have had to make; therefore, we want to support all our residents through a person-centered ethos of care and support.
The benefits of moving into a supportive community of care are endless – from the provision of nutritious meals to knowing your vulnerable relative is safe and well looked after.
Our mission is to always provide the standard of care that you would wish for yourself or for your own loved one, and that is why the rights and choices of our residents are paramount.
Our Facilities
Arden Lodge is a warm and inviting home, consisting of 8 bedrooms on the ground floor, which are all equipped with en-suite facilities. There are also three wet rooms adapted with equipment to allow for a greater level of independency and privacy.
The ground floor area has large communal lounges with two sets of televisions. For those that do not wish to spend their time within a large group, there is a small quiet lounge where residents can indulge in some peace and quiet. The small lounge area also holds Arden Lodge’s Library that the residents can peruse at their leisure.
To the back of the building is the pretty orangery where residents can access the quaint court yard. The court yaard has accessible flower beds for our green fingered residents.
On the first floor of Arden Lodge there are twenty bedrooms which are furnished to a high standard. This floor has two wet rooms with one featuring an assisted bath.
On the second floor, which had an extension added in 2017, has sixteen bedrooms and two large wet rooms.
Residents can access each floor with ease thanks to our passenger lift.
